The American Cinematheque is thrilled to present a special residency with legendary filmmaker John Carpenter ahead of his return to the stage with John Carpenter: Live In Concert this October in Los Angeles and New York. Kicking off the series, we’ll celebrate the 45th anniversary of THE FOG with a screening featuring John Carpenter and producer Larry Franco in-person.

ABOUT THE FILM:

A strange, glowing fog rolls over a small coastal town one hundred years after a mysterious shipwreck and when vengeful ghosts go on a killing spree, residents look for answers even as they try to survive.
