The filmmaker behind BADLANDS, DAYS OF HEAVEN and THE TREE OF LIFE turns his sights on the vacuousness and ridiculousness that is the Hollywood system in KNIGHT OF CUPS, while also tossing in the Tarot, the 17th-century allegory “The Pilgrim’s Progress” and some New Testament apocrypha for good measure.
