Friend ($150)

Ticket discount (two per regular performance), discounts on merchandise, two complimentary tickets, FREE T-shirt and invitations to private screenings.

Contributing Member ($300)

Friend benefits, with four complimentary tickets, FREE tote bag and invitations to VIP receptions.

Supporting Member ($600)

Contributing Benefits, with 8 complimentary tickets, and acknowledgment in the Cinematheque publication.

Sustaining Member ($1,200)

Supporting Member benefits, plus two tickets to the Cinematheque’s annual black-tie gala, The Moving Picture Ball.

*Additional benefit opportunities become available throughout the year. Some currently include special member only screenings, free birthday screenings and special offers on magazine subscriptions, restaurants, film festivals, software and e-mail/internet service providers.

Tickets are available for both theatres online at  www.fandango.com

If there is no program on the day you are looking at fandango, look below "no shows today" to "coming attractions" and you can buy advance tickets, or feel free to come to the box office in person during box office hours (2 hours prior to the first show of the day/evening). All advertised shows are open to the public. The Aero's zip code is 90403 and the Egyptian's is 90028 if you choose to find the theatre by zip code on www.fandango.com.

Egyptian Theatre: Tickets are available by Phone, Mail & In Person. Call 323.692.3431 and follow the prompts. Orders must be received a full 2 business days prior to the screening date. For example, if you wish to purchase tickets to a 7:30 PM show on Sat., June 18 you must place the ticket order by Wed., June 15 at 7:30 PM.

Aero Theatre: Tickets are available by Phone & In Person. Call 323.634.4878 and follow the prompts. Orders must be received a full 2 business days prior to the screening date. For example, if you wish to purchase tickets to a 7:30 PM show on Sat., June 18 you must place the ticket order by Wed., June 15 at 7:30 PM.


o Tickets may be purchased up to 30 days in advance of any set program. We accept CASH, VISA & MASTERCARD. CHECKS are accepted for mailed orders only.

o Only American Cinematheque members have the privilege of faxing or mailing advance orders without an extra charge. Advance tickets must be picked up at the box office will-call window during box office hours. NO TICKETS WILL BE MAILED.

When ordering advance member tickets, please include:

o Your first and last name         o Name of the film/event  

o Number of tickets you want

o Your membership #         o Your phone #        

o Visa or MasterCard #

o Expiration date          

o Your name as it appears on the credit card you are using.

(We do not accept Discover, Diner's Club or American Express)

BOX OFFICE: Tickets may be purchased at the Egyptian Theatre Box office without a handling charge. Box office is generally open Tues. -Sun., 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and until 30 minutes after the last screening of the evening begins on nights of Cinematheque programs. Check the current calendar for the schedule.

TICKET PRICES: General tickets are $9 and Member tickets are $6. Members may purchase one or two tickets to any program at the member price depending upon their membership level (indicated on card). Special programs may have a higher ticket price. You can purchase an unlimited number of non-member tickets by fax or mail as well.

FAX: Tickets are no longer available by fax unless the www.fandango.com system is down. If you experience diffuculty purchasing online tickets you may fax advance ticket orders to: 323/461-2020. Fax orders must be received two full business days (by 5:00 pm) before the first film ordered. No exceptions. There no per ticket handling charge for Members. No processing on Saturday or Sunday.

MAIL: Send attention: Ticket Orders, American Cinematheque, 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, L.A., CA, 90028. Checks should be made payable to American Cinematheque and must be received 5 business days prior to the first event purchased. There is no per ticket handling charge.

VOUCHERS: Vouchers are only accepted at the box office and are redeemable solely for regularly priced admissions. Your full name and mailing address must be written on reverse of voucher to redeem. No cash value.

MEMBER ID: Cinematheque members must show their card when purchasing or picking up tickets. If you are a new member and do not yet have a card, the Egyptian Theatre box office will have your name on a list. Show a photo ID to pick up tickets or to buy them in person with your discount.
